1. About these terms
These Terms of Service apply to your use of our website at www.weaverplatform.ai (the "website") and, where section 7 applies, to a free trial of the Weaver platform. The website and the platform are operated by Weaver Opco Limited, a company registered in Jersey under company number 165894, with its registered office at c/o Aztec Financial Services (Jersey) Limited, Aztec Group House, IFC6, The Esplanade, St Helier, Jersey, JE4 0QH ("Weaver", "we", "us", "our").
Weaver is a business-to-business platform: AI agents run business processes for companies, and people review and approve the exceptions. Our products are Weaver Portal and Weaver Studio. The website and the trial are intended for businesses, not for consumers.
By using the website you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a trial on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf, and "you" includes that organisation.
Paid use of Weaver is governed by a separate written agreement between your organisation and us. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement prevails.
Our Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal data and cookies. They form part of how we operate, but they are not contractual terms.
2. Using the website
You may use the website to learn about Weaver, contact us and sign up for a trial. When you use it, you must not:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the website, our systems or other people's data, or test their security without our written permission;
- introduce viruses or other harmful code, or interfere with or overload the website, including by sending automated or bulk requests to our forms;
- scrape, copy or extract content from the website by automated means, except as allowed by law or by search engines indexing it in the usual way;
- submit false information or sign up in someone else's name.
We may limit, suspend or block access to the website or our forms, including by IP address, to protect it from abuse.
3. Information on the website
The website gives general information about Weaver and how it works. It is not professional advice and you should not rely on it as such. Descriptions of products may include capabilities that are still being developed; what is included in a paid service is set out in the written agreement for that service.
We try to keep the website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be accurate, complete, up to date, secure or uninterrupted. We may change or withdraw any part of it at any time.
4. Intellectual property
We, or our licensors, own all intellectual property rights in the website and its content, including text, graphics, logos, software and the names Weaver, Weaver Portal and Weaver Studio. You may view and print pages for your own business's internal use in evaluating Weaver. You must not otherwise copy, reproduce, adapt or distribute website content without our written permission, or use our names or logos in a way that suggests we endorse you.
5. Links to other websites
The website may link to websites run by others, such as our payment provider. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data. Their own terms and privacy notices apply.
6. Signing up
To request a trial you complete our Get started form, confirm your work email address using the link we send you (valid for 24 hours) and verify a payment card through Stripe. When you sign up:
- the information you give must be accurate and must be your own;
- card verification is carried out by Stripe under Stripe's own terms; we do not see or store your full card details;
- nothing is charged when you sign up, and we will not charge the card unless your organisation agrees to a paid service in writing;
- completing sign-up is a request for a trial, not a guarantee of one. Our team sets up trial environments manually and may decline or delay a request at its discretion.
7. Trial environment
This section applies when we give your organisation access to a trial environment of the Weaver platform. It applies in addition to the rest of these terms.
7.1 What the trial is
- The trial is free of charge and is provided only so that your organisation can evaluate Weaver. It must not be used to run your live business operations.
- The trial runs on Weaver's test environment, which may not have all the features, capacity or safeguards of a production service.
- We may change, reset, suspend or end the trial environment, or delete its content, at any time and for any reason, including without notice. Please keep your own copy of anything you need.
- The trial has no service level, availability or support commitment. We may help you on a reasonable-efforts basis.
- The trial lasts 14 days from the day we send you the sign-in link, unless we agree a different period in writing. It may end earlier when either of us tells the other that it is ending. Nothing is charged for the trial, and it does not turn into paid use automatically.
7.2 Your data in the trial
- You must not upload special category data (such as information about health, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, biometric or genetic data), information about criminal convictions, or real personal data from your live operations, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Please use test or sample data instead.
- You are responsible for having the right to put any data into the trial environment and for its accuracy.
- We process personal data in your trial environment on your behalf and on your instructions, as described in our Privacy Notice. Where we agree that real personal data may be used, we will sign data processing terms with you before it is uploaded.
- When the platform uses an AI model, requests are sent to third-party AI model providers through our gateway, which masks personal data before it is sent.
7.3 Your users
You decide who in your organisation gets access to the trial. You are responsible for your users and for everything done under their accounts, for keeping sign-in details confidential and for telling us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
7.4 Acceptable use
You and your users must not use the trial environment to:
- break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or process data you are not entitled to process;
- make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on individuals based solely on AI output, without human review;
- try to access other customers' data or parts of the platform you have not been given access to, or test its security without our written permission;
- interfere with, overload or disrupt the platform, or use it to send spam or harmful content;
- reverse engineer, decompile or copy the platform, except as allowed by law, or use it to build a competing product;
- share access with anyone outside your organisation without our agreement.
We may suspend access immediately if we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.
7.5 Intellectual property
- Each of us keeps the intellectual property it owned before the trial or creates independently of it.
- We own the Weaver platform, including its software, the agents and process templates we provide, its documentation and any improvements to them. The trial gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform for evaluation during the trial, and no other rights.
- You own your data and the business content you put into the trial environment. You give us the right to use it only to provide and support the trial.
- If you give us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely without any obligation to you.
7.6 Confidentiality
Each of us will keep confidential the non-public information the other shares in connection with the trial (including, for us, the platform, its design and pricing, and for you, your data and business information), use it only for the trial and evaluation, and disclose it only to people who need to know it and are bound by similar obligations. This does not apply to information that is or becomes public through no fault of the recipient, that the recipient already had or develops independently, or that must be disclosed by law. These obligations continue for two years after the trial ends.
7.7 AI output
Weaver uses AI models, and AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate for your circumstances. Output from the trial must be reviewed by a person before it is relied on or acted upon. You are responsible for decisions you make using the trial and for checking any output before using it.
7.8 No warranties
Because the trial is free and for evaluation only, it is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties or commitments about the trial, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, fit for a particular purpose or that any data will be preserved.
7.9 Liability for the trial
Subject to section 8.1, our total liability to you arising from or in connection with the trial, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited to £100. You are responsible for any loss we suffer because you or your users break section 7.2 or 7.4.
8. Our liability
8.1 What we do not limit
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
8.2 Losses we are not responsible for
Subject to section 8.1, we are not liable, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, for: loss of profits, revenue, business, contracts or anticipated savings; loss of goodwill; loss or corruption of data; business interruption; or any indirect or consequential loss.
8.3 The website
The website is provided free of charge. Subject to section 8.1, our total liability to you arising from or in connection with your use of the website is limited to £100.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. The version in force when you use the website applies to that use. If we make a significant change that affects a trial in progress, we will tell you, and you may end the trial if you do not accept it.
10. General
- Transfer: we may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation, for example as part of a reorganisation or sale of our business. You may not transfer yours without our written consent.
- Third parties: no one other than you and us has any right to enforce these terms.
- Severability: if any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
- No waiver: if we delay enforcing these terms, we can still enforce them later.
- Entire agreement for the trial: these terms are the entire agreement between us about the trial and replace any earlier discussions about it. They do not affect any separate written agreement for paid use.
- Governing law and courts: these terms, and any dispute arising from them or the website, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
