1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on www.weaverplatform.ai, which is operated by Weaver Opco Limited ("Weaver", "we", "us"). Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as scripts that read information about your device, are covered by this policy too.
2. Cookies set by Weaver
Weaver does not set any cookies of its own on this website. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. We count visits with Umami, which uses no cookies (section 3).
3. Visit statistics (Umami)
We use Umami, a service provided by Umami Software, Inc., to count visits to this website. When a page loads, Umami's script reads basic information about your browser and sends it to Umami: the page viewed, the referring website, the campaign a link came from (the utm_ tags in the address, such as utm_source=linkedin), which of our buttons and links you click (for example "Book a demo" or "Start a pilot", and whether a form was sent), the type of browser, operating system and device, screen size and language. Umami derives your country from your IP address but does not store the IP address.
Umami does not set cookies or store anything on your device. Visits are counted under an identifier that is derived from your browser details and changes regularly, so it cannot be used to recognise you over time or across other websites. We use these statistics only in aggregate, to understand how the website is used and to improve it. Umami does not count visits from browsers that send a Do Not Track signal, and apart from the campaign (utm_) tags, the address details after a "?" or "#" (such as the link in a sign-up email) are never sent to Umami. What you type into our forms is never sent to Umami.
4. Cookies set by Stripe on the card verification step
Card verification is not yet available on our website. Until it is, Stripe's payment form is not loaded and none of the cookies described in this section are set. We will update this policy if this changes.
When card verification is available and you sign up for a trial, the final step asks you to verify a payment card. That step (the page reached from the link in your confirmation email) loads Stripe's payment form so that your card details go directly to Stripe and never to us. When this form loads, Stripe sets cookies and collects information about your device and browser, including through its fraud-detection service on m.stripe.network, to detect and prevent fraud and keep card payments secure.
These cookies are strictly necessary for the card verification you have asked for: without them, Stripe cannot verify your card securely. They are not used by us for analytics or advertising. No Stripe cookies are set on other pages of our website.

5. How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse all cookies, refuse third-party cookies only, or delete cookies when you close the browser. Your browser's help pages explain how.
Our website works without cookies, except the card verification step: if you block Stripe's cookies, card verification may fail and you may not be able to complete sign-up. If that happens, please contact us at hello@weaverplatform.ai.
To stop Umami counting your visits, turn on your browser's Do Not Track setting or block scripts from cloud.umami.is. The website works the same without it.
6. Changes to this policy
If we start using other cookies or similar technologies, we will update this policy before we do so and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
